Economic School “9 May” from Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, holds both School Education and VET accreditations and has extensive experience in international projects, mobility activities and cooperation with partner institutions across Europe and beyond.
For three consecutive years, our school has taken part in an international culinary skills competition in Turkey, bringing together talented students from our Cook/Chef programme and their culinary teacher and mentor.
Our students have achieved remarkable results in both individual and team categories, demonstrating their knowledge, creativity, precision and professional skills. However, the greatest value of this experience goes beyond the competition itself. Through working in an international environment, our students have strengthened their teamwork, communication and English language skills, gained valuable professional experience and developed greater confidence in their abilities.
Participation in this competition is an important part of our school's international activities and reflects our commitment to providing students with opportunities to learn through experience, compete, grow and prepare for their future careers in the culinary profession.
